Welcome to the
online headquarters of State Representative Kevin Bacon! As a husband, father and legislator I care deeply about our community. There are many challenging issues facing Ohio and I am working hard for the residents of District 21. Such issues that I continue to work on are job creation, economic development, education funding and affordable healthcare. I believe rebuilding our economy begins right here in central Ohio by cutting taxes for working families, cutting government red tape and stopping frivolous lawsuits that cost jobs and drive up the cost of health care. As part of the new frontier I am working to invest in new high-tech, high-paying jobs. As a husband and father, I understand the importance of a quality education. As your State Representative I am working to make sure our schools receive their fair share of the state budget - to take the burden off local property taxpayers and seniors. And like you, I am concerned about skyrocketing tuition costs. As a member of the Higher Education subcommittee I am working to implement reforms to make college more affordable. I am also concerned about the many residents of Ohio that are without adequate healthcare coverage. I am committed to making coverage more affordable and accessible for all Ohioans. I will continue to working with community leaders, my colleagues, and you on making District 21 a better place to live. I appreciate your visit to this webpage.
